Hopefully the monograph, “About Aldo & His Art", has introduced to the reader what will be germane to the various Series' of compositions that follow. Each original piece begins with a sketch that will be enlarged 0n canvas. The first fifty-two sketches were pictorially challenging yet, intrinsically rewarding. The drawings, thematic templates of how the visual elements would flow, where the focal points elaborated became imbued with a modal quality; or mood!  During the next improvisational phase, white & black inks further emphasize the overall movement of the piece and judiciously eliminated or enhanced those areas that need to be balanced; namely the counterpoint and symmetrical black to white values. Complementary pencil shadings followed. Important components of each composition, the integration of abstract images with spontaneously-felt ideas, emerged as a unified whole!   A lyricism of abstract elements …. An Aesthetic of integrated complexity.                                                                                                                                          The final improvisational step is to reproduce each composition onto canvas, paper or metal via the exacting Giclée process of sprayed indelible inks. Affordable, impeccable reproductions on any medium is, I believe, the future of compositions that will bear repeated viewings, over time.        These reproductions are meant to be hung, not flipped or traded. Intentionally-squared canvas pieces allow for eight different positions/perspectives to be enjoyed ...in fact to be visually co-created by any future observer.

           Also, this site allows for a wide range of choices! Personalized sizes, materials and framing choices can all be viewed on any wall, via the included digital app Augmented Reality!  A wall-color chart is also available to enhance every TRIAL VIEWING, as are price points!

           I use the word ‘beyond’ as an overarching concept, i.e., the ‘moreness’ that may be experienced by the beholder. To be more fully experienced, abstract works need to be re-expressed, re-interpreted. Over time, by simply noticing or with concentrated examination (abstracting), the value of being ‘Untitled’ will allow for personalizing, and actually re-composing and co-creating every piece. "Moreness"!! Elaborating further (improvising) on this first Series, coined "Counterpoint" led to multiple Series'. Each new Series will be contained in an on-going creative Opus! (see 'Prelude' in Adlib Viewpoints)
